I initially started another blog but that failed miserably. Instead, this is going to be a diary of my first job as a lecturer in a UK university while wishing I had done medicine and was a fully fledged doctor rather than a PhD one.
Expect some angst, hair pulling and musings of what should have been as well as what is.

Hurrah!
I got an interview for the arc laymember post. Wednesday 6 May at 1pm in London. So excited, fingers and toes crossed for me everyone!
Ooh, Congratulations! That is excellent news, these committees are always seriously lacking us younger crips so I will be keeping everything crossed you get it. Well done, BG x

I hope that they see sense and appoint you. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
It's so good to hear you being happy; remember the feeling and try to build on it.
